Anjuli Theresa Wiencke-Aschenbrenner joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2021. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Anjuli Theresa will be focusing on domestic and cross-border M&A projects as well as private equity and venture capital transactions.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Anjuli Theresa practiced at an international firm where she advised financial sponsors and corporate clients in private equity transactions. She also gained experience in M&A and venture capital deals while working at international law firms in Berlin and in London during her legal studies.
Anjuli Theresa is a member and editor of "breaking.through" a feminist lawyers' association in Germany that aims to make successful female lawyers more visible and to make choosing a legal career more attractive to women and girls.
