Michael Vance represents clients in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, project development, strategic transactions, and commercial agreements, primarily in the energy industry.

His recent representative matters include acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, and joint ventures in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors; advising on renewables and energy transition matters; and negotiating oil and gas commercial agreements.

Prior to law school, Michael worked as a technical writer for two industry-leading software companies and as an English teacher in South Korea.
