Laura Uptin works on complex commercial disputes for Australian and international clients in a range of jurisdictions and forums, including state supreme courts, the Federal Court of Australia, and international arbitrations.
Laura's recent experience includes acting for a global construction company in proceedings brought against the New South Wales government and advising a financial institution in relation to the Royal Commission into Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services. She also has experience in class actions, joint venture disputes, regulatory compliance, and insolvency matters.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Laura was the associate to the Honourable Justice Atkinson AO of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
