Mbaye-Yacine Thiam focuses his practice on commercial litigation and corporate law-related disputes involving mergers and acquisitions and post-transaction and shareholder disagreements. He also has experience in product liability, industrial risk, insurance law, and white collar crime. He advises and represents French and international clients before civil and commercial courts and in the context of judicial expertise, civil enforcement proceedings, and recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2020, Mbaye-Yacine practiced at a French law firm in the areas of commercial litigation and white collar crime. He also interned at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in South Africa as a protection legal assistant for refugees and asylum seekers.
