Jasper Tran leverages his science background and clerkship experience to advise and represent the Firm's technology and pharmaceutical clients in complex litigation and transactional matters.

As a technical generalist, Jasper has litigated competitor patent, copyright, trade secret, and antitrust cases involving emerging technologies ranging from semiconductors and software to medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He is experienced in all phases of litigation through trial and appeal. Additionally, he has drafted agreements and conducted due diligence related to the acquisition, divestment, and licensing of intellectual property assets.

Jasper has written for Indiana Law Journal; George Washington, Iowa, and Vanderbilt Law Reviews; Harvard and Yale Journals of Law and Technology; and IEEE Annals, among others. He serves on the editorial board of PTAB Bar Association Law Journal and regularly contributes to the Firm's PTAB Litigation Blog. He was a Google Policy Fellow and a Humphrey Policy Fellow.

Prior to his legal career, Jasper researched nanostructures for organic solar cells at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
