Diana Torres advises companies on corporate law matters related to capital markets, mutual and pension funds, and Mexican banks and brokerage firms. She has assisted in the establishment of mutual funds, in funds obtaining authorization before the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), as well as in other financial proceedings before the CNBV.
Her practice also includes regulatory counseling and filing requests to obtain authorizations for the incorporation, establishment, transfer of shares, negotiation, and implementation of purchase agreements, spin-offs, and liquidations of financial entities.
In addition, Diana has worked on transactions involving the issuance of debt and equity securities, corporate restructurings, and preparation of due diligence reports and legal opinions.
