Ana Teixeira focuses her practice on intellectual property. She has represented clients in licensing transactions, district court litigation, and post-grant invalidity proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). She also has experience assisting clients with patent prosecution, primarily in the life sciences industry.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Ana conducted undergraduate and graduate research at the University of São Paulo, where she applied molecular biology and neuroimaging techniques to investigate addiction and mood disorders in children and adolescents.
Ana also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing minors seeking asylum.
