Yann-Mickaël Serezo advises clients in the electronic communications, media, and technologies sectors on issues particularly as they relate to their activities in Africa and the Middle East.

He assists governments and public entities with legislative and regulatory reforms, implementation of sectoral policies, privatization of public enterprises, and licensing procedures.

Yann-Mickaël also advises private sector clients with implementing regulatory duties, in their relationships with public entities, and in litigation.

In addition, he assists regional and international organizations that are involved in supporting the growth of emerging countries, particularly in carrying out studies of their development prospects.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Yann-Mickaël was a member of the public and environmental law team at an international law firm. He also has experience in public business law, including public procurement contracts, public service outsourcing contracts, public-private partnership (PPP) agreements, and public land use agreements.
