Peter is experienced in evaluating patent portfolios for strategic issues such as licensing, enforcement, and negotiations.

He works closely with clients to obtain, prosecute, and defend patents, utility models, trademarks, and designs and to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights. Peter also advises companies on critical procedures to implement when launching new products.
Peter has assisted in several litigation procedures at German, French, and Italian courts in conjunction with U.S. patent litigations. Prior to joining Jones Day he successfully defended a key technology patent in the highest instance on a nullity action in Germany and assisted in enforcement of the patent against multiple competitors.
