Marc Silverstein's real estate and construction clients benefit from his experience in transactions, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.

Marc's general real estate practice includes all aspects of real estate development, such as land use and zoning, the acquisition and disposition of developed and undeveloped land, commercial foreclosures, commercial leasing, eminent domain, fair housing compliance, and related litigation.

Marc's construction practice includes representation of the various participants in the construction process, which often allows him to use his training in civil engineering. He has represented owners, developers, contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Marc's construction-related representations have included counseling, contract preparation, claims analysis, mechanics' liens, dispute resolution, and litigation.

Marc has represented clients in many forums, such as state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, zoning boards, and city councils.

Marc also devotes substantial time to nonprofit and charitable organizations. He is a life trustee of the Menorah Park Center for Senior Living, and he is president of the Harvard Law School Association of Cleveland. Among other prior service, Marc was former board chair and life trustee of the Siegal College of Judaic Studies and a former board member of the Cleveland Jewish News.

Marc is a member of the American Arbitration Association's Roster of Neutrals. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Real Property Law Section), the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (Real Estate Section).
