Laura Sheldon's practice focuses on M&A, corporate governance, and general corporate law. While she advises clients in domestic and cross-border transactions across a broad range of industries, including health care and consumer goods and retail, she works extensively on transactions in the energy industry.

Laura's work in the energy industry includes mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the sale and purchase of renewable assets, and in the development and infrastructure stages of energy projects. She has advised clients on asset and stock purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, transition services agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, build-out agreements, project administration agreements, and other procurement and development agreements.

Laura also maintains an active and diverse pro bono practice that includes providing advice to nonprofit organizations relating to governance and formation.
