Josh Sherman represents clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In addition, he has experience conducting internal investigations involving allegations of fraud and other wrongdoing.
Josh also defends corporations and their directors and officers in complex civil and criminal litigation. He has assisted clients in matters involving alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), breach of contract, patent infringement, securities fraud, health care fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud. Josh has also acted as lead counsel for one of the three national credit reporting agencies in the United States in individual consumer litigation brought under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
In addition, Josh serves on pro bono matters, including recent work on a federal habeas appeal.
