Fernanda Salas represents private companies and governmental entities in planning, structuring, and executing public tenders and governmental agreements in Mexico. Her experience includes public infrastructure projects in Mexico and Latin America in the security, energy, and telecomm industries.

Fernanda has been involved in corporate transactions related to joint ventures and corporate restructures as well as in the preparation of due diligence reports and legal opinions. Prior to joining Jones Day she advised the Mexican federal government in a satellite telecomm project and the government of the Mexican state of Oaxaca in the development of a medium-high security penitentiary. She also participated in negotiations with the governments of Colombia and Paraguay in the development of security projects in their countries.
