Susan Restrepo practices primarily in the area of private equity, with a focus on representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies. Her experience includes a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity financings, and other strategic transactions across a number of industries. Susan's experience also includes representing public corporations in various M&A transactions and assisting clients with general corporate governance matters.
The clients Susan has represented include The Riverside Company, MPE Partners, Peterson Partners, The Wendy's Company, and Cardinal Health.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Susan was a legislative aide to Ohio State Senator Kevin Bacon, where she managed the Senate Insurance, Commerce, and Labor Committee. During this time she was involved in a variety of business-related legislation, including Ohio's public pension reform.
Susan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and serves on the Columbus Office's Hiring Committee and Diversity, Inclusion and Advancement Committee. She is a 2013 graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute.
