Sam Rayburn practices corporate law, with an emphasis on advising private and public companies and private equity firms on M&A, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Sam worked for a law firm in Portland, Oregon, where he represented clients in a diverse range of sectors, including consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, the athletic and outdoor industry, e-commerce, and restaurant and beverage, in connection with business formation, corporate governance, commercial contracts, M&A, and other corporate matters.
