Dia Rasinariu represents commercial clients in complex civil litigation matters. She has experience at many stages of the litigation process, having worked on pleadings, conducted discovery, and drafted dispositive motions and appellate briefs. Dia's recent matters include defending a chemicals company against product liability claims and defending a biopharmaceutical company against antitrust claims relating to the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Dia also maintains an active pro bono practice, working on civil rights and domestic violence matters. In addition, she represents asylum seekers fleeing persecution in their home countries and advises attorneys on how to effectively respond to nationwide changes in asylum law and policy.

Before joining Jones Day in 2017, Dia served as a law clerk to Judge Diana Gribbon Motz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
