Kiri Pettigrew has more than 20 years of legal experience in the Asia Pacific region involving large-scale litigation in numerous jurisdictions, including Australia, Taiwan, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Samoa, and Hong Kong, for plaintiffs and defendants from a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2019, Kiri was head of legal and compliance — Asia Pacific for a global financial technology firm and broker-dealer that develops cutting-edge technology to deliver liquidity to its institutional investor clients in global markets. In this role, Kiri gained extensive regulatory experience in the equity markets of Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Europe, and the United States. She also acquired substantial experience working with market regulators, handing regulatory licensing matters, negotiating cross-border agreements with third-party stakeholders and global institutional investors, defending regulatory investigations, implementing large-scale redundancies, and building robust risk management and regulatory compliance systems and processes in numerous markets.
