Michael Paslavsky practices complex commercial litigation, with a focus on securities litigation and other shareholder disputes, including merger litigation. Michael rejoined Jones Day in 2023 after serving as a term law clerk for United States District Judge Mary S. Scriven.

Before attending law school, Michael worked as a credit analyst in the middle market banking group at Wells Fargo where he partnered with senior bankers in the underwriting of direct debt commitments for a diverse group of companies, including in the sports and media space. He successfully completed the three levels of the Wells Fargo Credit Training program in 2016.

  • Monster Beverage acquires CANarchyJones Day advised Monster Beverage Corporation in the $330 million acquisition of CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective LLC, a craft beer and hard seltzer company.
  • Cypress Group sells majority stake to Milestone PartnersJones Day advised Cypress Group Holdings, Inc., a property and casualty insurance holding company with wholly-owned downstream operating entities in Florida, Texas, Louisiana and South Carolina, in the sale of the majority of Cypress and certain affiliated companies to funds managed by Milestone Partners.
  • J.F. Lehman & Company acquires CTS EnginesJones Day advised J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading middle-market private equity firm focused exclusively on the aerospace, defense, maritime, government and environmental sectors, in the acquisition of CTS Engines, LLC and CTS Testing, LLC.
