Gilbert Perales helps clients successfully navigate the stages of the commercial dispute resolution process. He focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation in state and federal courts and in commercial arbitrations. His experience spans many industries including the energy, real estate, technology, health care, insurance, and finance sectors.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Gilbert worked as a commercial litigator at an international law firm, representing clients in connection with business litigation, appellate practice, regulatory compliance, and government and internal investigations. He also maintains an active pro bono practice including successfully representing a foreign individual seeking asylum in the United States in which the individual was granted lawful permanent residence.
