Jessica Nichols focuses her practice on the representation of health care and life sciences companies.
Jessica has counseled health care clients on regulatory and compliance issues, including licensure, medical records retention, Medicare enrollment, reporting obligations under the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (PPSA), and health information privacy and security compliance under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Additionally, she has conducted due diligence reviews and participated in structuring various health care transactions, including management services agreements and other arrangements for the provision of professional or administrative services. On the life sciences side, Jessica has advised clients on a range of topics regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), including food labeling and nutritional claims, product promotion, and the regulation of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Prior to starting law school, Jessica worked for three years as an operations manager at an industrial supply company.
