Kate Neben's practice focuses on business litigation and includes defending federal Consumer Credit Protection Act litigation and related litigation under companion state laws.
Since 2010, Kate has represented Experian, one of the three national consumer credit reporting agencies, in individual consumer credit litigation brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. She has substantial experience in all stages of state and federal court litigation, including discovery, pretrial motions, and settlement negotiations.
