Zack McConnell's practice advances the interests of clients for a variety of complex litigation claims, from antitrust and IP theft allegations, to intricate contractual disputes.
For the last five years, Zack has sought challenging but rewarding work. He defended the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in several high-profile disputes, including a highly publicized contractual dispute with a large regional insurer culminating in a bench trial victory. On a national level, he defended an international credit reporting agency in several matters alleging violations of the Federal Credit Reporting Act, where he has overseen discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participated in settlement discussions. Currently, Zack represents one of the world's leading producers of business analytics software against allegations of IP theft and antitrust violations.
Zack has also been highly active in Jones Day's federal pro se pro bono program and has performed significant work for the Firm's pro bono veterans law clinic.
