Zachary McConnell practices as a litigator in federal and state courts, focusing on complex commercial and civil liability disputes. His experience includes fact and witness preparation, preparing for depositions, drafting motions, trial practice, and appellate briefing. To date, Zachary has been a member of Jones Day teams representing Pittsburgh's preeminent health care system in several high-profile commercial disputes, as well as participated in defending an international banking and financial services holding company in alleged breach of contract claims.
Zachary is also heavily involved in Jones Day's Global Disputes Practice, with a special focus in international investor-state law. He has assisted multiple companies with raising claims against foreign governments for violations of bilateral investment treaties and foreign international law in international arbitration proceedings.
