Scott Morrison defends employers in labor and employment matters in single plaintiff and in class and representative actions. Much of his practice focuses on defending airlines and airline service providers in matters involving the Railway Labor Act (RLA). He also represents employers in the medical, retail/service, and automotive industries.

Scott defends clients against claims of unpaid wages, meal/rest period violations, wrongful termination, and discrimination based on disability, national origin, and race under California and federal law. His experience includes drafting dispositive and non-dispositive pre- and post-trial motions, brief writing, and discovery management.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Scott acquired extensive legal research and writing experience during a federal clerkship in the District of Nevada. During law school he also served as a teaching assistant for advanced legal writing and as a research assistant.
