Matthew Mahoney represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. His experience includes various stages of pretrial litigation, such as fact investigation, discovery, and trial preparation. Matthew has also represented clients in criminal investigations by the United States Department of Justice, defending against allegations of fraud and other wrongdoing.
Matthew maintains an active pro bono practice and is a member of the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force at Jones Day.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Matthew served as a law clerk in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office Major Trial Unit and as a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
