Kevin McKibbin's practice focuses on the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies in complex business transactions. He has significant experience advising financial sponsors and strategic clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, recapitalizations, equity investments, and other strategic transactions. He also regularly counsels clients on corporate governance, equity incentive plans, and other general corporate matters.

Kevin has represented clients investing or operating in a number of industries. His transactional and advisory practice has involved businesses in the health care, consumer goods, public infrastructure maintenance, industrial products, engineering services, and food and beverage sectors.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Kevin was an associate in the Chicago office of an international law firm, where he was a member of that firm's mergers, acquisitions, and private equity practice. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Association.
