Clare McDonald is a general commercial litigator who has acted on contractual, shareholder, and subcontractor disputes as well as on insolvency matters.
Clare has advised and represented national banking institutions, insolvency practitioners, high net worth individuals, and corporations in litigation and debt recovery matters. She has represented clients in the NSW, Victoria, and Queensland Supreme Courts and the Federal Court of Australia.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Clare practiced at a boutique law firm in Brisbane where she was a member of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Clare is currently chair of the Queensland Law Society's Early Career Lawyers Committee.
