Annika Mizel represents corporate clients in complex civil litigation involving breach of contract, corporate fiduciary duty, torts, and product liability, among other claims. She also represents companies and individuals in connection with government investigations.

Annika has experience with all aspects of pretrial proceedings, including drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, and motion practice. Her investigation experience includes preparing for and conducting witness interviews, fact development and analysis, and reporting to key stakeholders.

Annika shares Jones Day's commitment to pro bono representation and currently represents asylum seekers through the Firm's Laredo Project. Since October 2019, she has served as the lead associate on two Laredo Project trial teams.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Annika gained significant legal research and writing experience while clerking on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
