Ruby Lang's practice focuses on data privacy, cybersecurity, and complex commercial litigation. She advises clients on compliance with various U.S. and international data privacy and security laws, cyber governance, cross-border data transfers, and data privacy. Ruby also handles U.S. and international data security incidents, including advising clients on notification obligations, drafting consumer and regulator breach notices, notification and other legal obligations, and related regulatory investigations.
Ruby maintains an active pro bono practice, including drafting privacy policies for nonprofit organizations and working with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to represent individuals seeking asylum protection and special immigrant juvenile status in the United States.
