Andrés Lorrio focuses his practice on structured finance, securitization, and capital markets and is recognized as a leading lawyer in Spain for derivatives. Andrés has more than 20 years of experience advising clients in a wide range of banking and finance transactions and regulatory matters. He regularly acts as an arbitrator in financial matters.

Recent engagements include the representation of a Spanish bank in a US$8 billion auto securitization and financing; acting for the arrangers in the 2018 German auto securitization of a Spanish bank; Euronext's irrevocable €510 million (US$530 million) cash offer to acquire LCH.Clearnet SA; the incorporation of securitization funds TDA-2015-1, TDA 2017-2, TDA 2017-3, and TDA 2017-4; acting for the financial entities in the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Ferroglobe's receivables securitization and in the 2016 Ercros' receivables securitization; the assignment of several infrastructure and toll highway credit portfolios from Spanish and international lenders; LAS Holding's (Wilbur Ross) investment in warrants in Carbures, S.A; and Enresa's (Spanish nuclear waste disposal entity) investments in repackaged notes.
