Peter Kahnert focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. He has represented clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities Exchange Commission, as well as matters involving business torts and contract disputes. Peter has experience in many aspects of litigation, including drafting motions, legal research, discovery, and trial preparation.
Peter maintains an active pro bono practice, currently working on a trial team for an individual seeking asylum in the United States.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Peter served as a law clerk in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office Public Corruption Unit. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
