Alice Klein regularly advises national and foreign companies on French labor and employment law and assists clients on social security matters.
Alice represents companies before labor courts on employee claims related to the termination of employment agreements such as constructive dismissals, dismissals, overtime hours, health and safety, and harassment. Her recent notable representations include companies in the pharmaceutical, metallurgy, and technology industries. She also assists clients before the social security tribunal on social security contributions reassessment following audits and on occupational illness/accident claims.
Alice is also involved in the reorganization of companies, including transfer of employees and workforce reductions. She has assisted clients in closing down facilities in France for economic reasons and has advised on related dismissal procedures.
In addition, Alice advises employers on transactional matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and transfer of undertakings.
