Rebecca Iafrati counsels buyers and sellers in corporate transactions involving cybersecurity, data privacy, and intellectual property matters. She also has experience in all aspects of data breach response, including forensic investigation, analysis of applicable regulations, notification of individuals and regulators, and remediation. In addition, she advises clients on cybersecurity and privacy compliance (such as drafting incident response plans, privacy policies, and practical regulatory compliance guidance).
While in law school, Rebecca was an extern at the Department of Justice Computer Crime Division, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Future of Privacy Forum. She also received Georgetown's inaugural technology law scholarship award.
Rebecca maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on the Firm's human trafficking initiative.
