Alison Ibendahl focuses her practice on civil litigation, involving primarily patents and trade secrets.
Alison has experience in a broad range of prelitigation activities, including fact and expert discovery, preparing for depositions, and drafting required patent submissions. She has represented clients in proceedings filed in federal courts.
Alison also has an active pro bono practice where she assists with the Firm's Border Project, providing immigration counseling and representation to Central American women fleeing persecution. She also provides immigration counseling to unaccompanied minors fleeing violence.
Prior to attending law school, Alison was a mechanical engineer for an oil field equipment provider. During this time her roles ranged from product level design engineering to project engineering, and she has experience with offshore and land drilling operations.
