Chad Heiman joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2019. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Chad is the author of "Shifting Purpose: Why Iowa's Certificate of Need Law is a Form of Economic Protectionism for Certain Iowa Health Care Providers and Should Be Repealed," 104 Iowa L. Rev. 385 (2018).
Prior to attending law school, Chad worked in economic development at the state and local levels, where he assisted executive-level decision makers on strategic investment opportunities in the state of Iowa.
