Shachar Gannot focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience with issues involving contractual disputes, employment discrimination, civil investigations, and voting rights. Shachar also has served as lead defense counsel in matters arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Shachar maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented clients in immigration and family matters through the Firm's Laredo Project and the New York-based nonprofit Her Justice, respectively. She has also worked on criminal defense cases through appointment pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act.
Prior to law school, Shachar served in the Israeli Air Force for two years as a non-commissioned officer of intelligence in a drone squadron.
