Leonie Ghirardi advises large corporations and individuals in a variety of disputes, including shareholder, corporate/commercial, fraud, asset tracing, and planning disputes. Leonie also has experience in commercial and investor state arbitration.
Leonie's recent experience includes advising: a large bank in obtaining injunctive relief in the United Kingdom in support of foreign proceedings relating to the nonpayment of significant loans; a listed company in a large fraud involving approximately 30 jurisdictions; the previous owner of a well-known English football club in a shareholder dispute with the club's current owners; and DB Symmetry in its successful appeal to the Court of Appeal involving public rights over key infrastructure for a new industrial development.
