Hilda Galvan, a nationally recognized trial lawyer, has represented technology companies in intellectual property litigation in courts across the country for more than 25 years. She has served as lead counsel in the enforcement of patent portfolios as well as defense of infringement allegations. Her cases have involved various technologies, including electronics, software wireless communication, and semiconductor processes, among others.

Hilda has tried a number of cases to verdict but also has succeeded in cases short of trial. In a bet-the-company patent case Hilda tried, the jury found no infringement of one patent and awarded minimal damages, while the invalidity case provided a simple design-around. In another patent trial between competitors, the jury awarded damages less than 10% of the plaintiff's demand and the court issued an injunction of limited scope. This outcome resulted in Hilda being recognized as one of DFW's Top Defense Attorneys. In another case, after winning an argument at pretrial conference, the plaintiff admitted no infringement and requested a trial continuance. Prior to the continued trial the court granted an invalidity summary judgment that was affirmed by the Federal Circuit.

Hilda was named 2019 Lawyer of the Year: Litigation-Patent by The Best Lawyers in America. IAM magazine identified Hilda as a "powerhouse litigator" and lauded her "extensive experience in big-ticket patent litigation." Chambers noted in 2016 that Hilda is prized by clients for her ability to "bring experience and strategy" to IP disputes arising in the electronics and software sectors.
