Kate Grady concentrates her practice on commercial real estate finance and represents financial lending institutions in a variety of real estate transactions.
Kate has an extensive background in title and survey review and is able to guide clients through the title process from inception through post-closing. Prior to joining Jones Day she worked as a foreclosure paralegal, title examiner, a title attorney, and an oil and gas landman in the fracking and natural gas industry. She has experience in title examining for residential real estate, commercial real estate, and mineral estates; drafting of commitments, title opinions, policies, and judicial reports; curing of title defects and clearing liens; and reviewing judicial foreclosures, bankruptcies, and probates.
