Sherif Girgis focuses his practice on appellate advocacy and complex litigation. He has published books and articles and authored amicus briefs on free speech, religious liberty, and related issues.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Sherif served as a law clerk to Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. of the Supreme Court of the United States and to Judge Thomas B. Griffith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
