Don Goodson focuses on appellate advocacy and dispositive motion practice in federal and state courts.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Don served as a law clerk to Associate Justices Anthony M. Kennedy and John Paul Stevens (Ret.) of the U.S. Supreme Court, to Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and to Judge Alison J. Nathan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He also practiced law at a prominent New York law firm, where he worked primarily on antitrust, art law, and general commercial litigation matters and represented individuals seeking political asylum in pro bono cases.
