Michael Fernando advises a wide range of clients on intellectual property and regulatory matters. His experience includes commercial, transactional, and contentious cases involving trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights.

Michael frequently advises clients (including public relations firm Edelman) in commercial matters. He has experience in license agreements, global services frameworks, engagement agreements with contractors, and subcontracting arrangements. He has also advised a number of clients on advertising law and regulation in the United Kingdom and has assessed the risk of advertising campaigns prior to their finalization.

Michael's practice also includes issues involving UK regulations of the life sciences and health care industry. He has advised pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in queries arising at all stages of the supply chain and in litigation involving the protection of patent rights, market access, and license disputes.
