Daniel Echevarría focuses on internal investigations, defending companies and individuals in white collar proceedings, and advising clients on compliance.
Daniel represents domestic and international clients before courts on a wide range of criminal matters such as fraud, misappropriations, tax and intellectual property crimes, corporate offenses, bribes, money laundering, and disclosure of secrets. In addition, he has developed compliance programs based on national and international legal standards.
Daniel is an active member of the Madrid Office's pro bono activities and has advised Asociación Nuevo Futuro and Fundación Gil Gayarre in the drafting of their compliance programs.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Daniel worked in the criminal law department of an international law firm and at a leading Spanish criminal law boutique.
