Steve DeCosse focuses on public and private cross-border M&A and investments for strategics, trading houses, and private equity firms. His recent outbound experience includes energy, energy storage, offshore wind, oil and gas (O&G), transport and logistics, public-private partnerships (PPPs), solar, grain, water, food, semiconductor, IoT, and autos. His significant inbound experience extends to hospitality and resorts, including integrated resorts (IR), auto parts, solar, energy demand response, digital ad measurement, parking services, and medical devices.
Steve manages anticorruption due diligence and compliance for Japanese companies engaged in outbound M&A or projects. He is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
He is currently involved in an Asia-wide pro bono project focusing on human trafficking in six southeast Asian countries.

Represented Hitachi, Ltd. in its $2 billion acquisition of IBM's hard disk drive business.
Represented Japan Air Gases, a joint venture of Air Liquide and BOC, in its joint venture in Japan with Iwatani International to merge their cryogenic equipment manufacturing businesses.
Represented The Charles Schwab Corporation in its acquisition of CyberCorp, an electronic trading and brokerage firm based in Texas, in a stock for stock transaction valued at approximately $500 million.
