Simone DeJarnett focuses her practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, and she has significant experience in matters involving the Bank Secrecy Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and anti-money laundering (AML). She has drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs at both the trial and appellate stage and has written and argued dozens of summary judgment motions in state court product liability actions.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Simone was an associate in the Pittsburgh office of an international law firm where she represented many manufacturing and financial services clients in mass tort litigation and in government enforcement actions. She also assisted clients in conducting internal investigations and in preparing premerger notification filings in the United States and in foreign jurisdictions.
