Mack Dowiak has experience advising clients in energy transactions and environmental compliance. He has been part of teams counseling public and private companies on state environmental permitting requirements and environmental risks tied to potential acquisitions. Mack also has been been part of teams advising financial institutions and corporations regarding voluntary carbon credits, carbon capture and sequestration, and hydrocarbon projects.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mack worked as an engineer in the energy infrastructure industry for a large engineering, procurement, and construction firm and a large energy holding company. He leverages his energy industry experience when providing clients with pragmatic legal advice for their technical challenges.
Mack maintains an active pro bono practice that includes counseling nonprofits on formation and governance matters and representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States.
