Angela Doyle works with corporations, limited liability companies, and tax-exempt organizations on matters of controversy, planning, and compliance. Her practice includes the state and local taxation of digital products and services.
Angela has experience in audit assessment appeal, mergers and acquisitions, and False Claims Act defense. She has handled matters involving corporate income, franchise, sales and use, license, gross receipts, UBTI, and property taxes.
Angela is committed to pro bono service. She has obtained federal tax-exempt status for a variety of charitable organizations and advises nonprofit organizations in state and federal compliance. She also volunteers with the Firm's Laredo Project and represents clients seeking asylum in the United States.
While in law school Angela served in the Ludwig Center for Community and Economic Development, which provides legal assistance to clients seeking to promote economic opportunity in Connecticut.
