Sadaat Cheema represents multinational corporations and their executives in complex and large-scale litigation across a range of legal areas, including class actions, securities claims, shareholder derivative actions, and construction and general commercial disputes. His experience spans the complete life cycle of legal disputes, both transnational and single jurisdiction, and he acts for domestic and foreign entities.

Sadaat joined Jones Day in 2019 from the New York City office of an international law firm, where he represented leading corporations in U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions in defense of shareholder derivative claims and class actions, product liability claims, environmental damage and consumer lawsuits, and regulatory investigations of financial institutions with respect to alleged malpractice on financial markets and of tax evasion. He also worked at a major Australian firm and represented corporations in employment disputes, white collar fraud claims and investigations, and general commercial litigation.
