Maria Ciccolini's practice focuses on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. Maria has experience in various aspects of pretrial litigation, including legal research, offensive and defensive discovery, motion practice, and depositions. She also represents clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She has experience defending clients in government and criminal investigations involving allegations of fraud, corruption, and other wrongdoing.
Maria represents a variety of pro bono clients and is active in the Firm's Laredo Project. She currently represents an unaccompanied minor fleeing from his home country in asylum proceedings and has worked on the ground in Laredo, Texas, screening and counseling individuals seeking asylum in the United States.
She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
