Gen Cefali represents corporate and individual clients in investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). She has experience defending companies, officers, and directors in government and criminal investigations involving fraud, insider trading, and other regulatory violations.
During law school, Gen worked on various fraud, insider trading, coin offering, and financial misstatement matters at the SEC Division of Enforcement.
Gen maintains an active pro bono practice representing immigrants seeking asylum in the United States.
