Clara Calderón focuses her practice on banking and finance law, representing Spanish and international clients in a wide range of transactions, including corporate, project, and structured finance.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Clara practiced at several local law firms, where she advised on the preparation of legal documents and filings before Spanish government agencies and collaborated with Spanish public institutions to provide information on real estate and civil state matters. She also has experience drafting legal documents involving claims and appeals, reviewing competition contracts in order to avoid potential infringement violations, and preparing mergers associated with regulated sectors, especially contracts in the infrastructure and energy fields.
